Within the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme Comenius the European Union has supported contacts between European institutions of education for many years.

In 2008 Gimazija “Romuvos“ from Siauliai / Lithuania, XXIII Liceum from Lublin/Poland, Lycee “Blaise Pascal“ from Rouen/ France and Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium from Nossen/ Germany successfully applied for the participation in a multilateral school partnership programme themed “Learning from the Differences” covering a period of two years (2008-2010).

During the next two school years the participating schools are going to work on this project. Each school will organize a workshop. The main focus will be on the sciences and mathematics, where special features of the different education systems will be examined.

Apart from the presentation and discussion of the specific strategies the participants will also make practical experiences. They will produce materials in the form of worksheets, videos and CDs . The results will be presented on this website as well. They are supposed to be used in projects and lessons at all participating schools.
